Cocktail Recipes
Cucumber Rakitini
1 whole lemon – cut into 8 pieces
1 small cucumber – cut into 1 inch pieces
2 sprigs of fresh thyme (can sub with basil or rosemary)
2 teaspoons sugar
A pinch of salt
2 shots D2 Tsipouro
In a cocktail shaker, muddle lemon, cucumber, sugar, salt. Add thyme and muddle a little more.
Pink Pegasus
1 shot D2 Tsipouro
1 shot pomegranate juice
Juice from half a lime
Simple syrup to taste
Ice
Rakomelo
250ml D2 Tsipouro
3 tablespoons honey
1 cinnamon stick
1 clove
In a small saucepan heat all ingredients for 1 minute, careful not to let boil or burn. Serve in shot glasses or espresso cups.
Greek Sidecar
1 shot bourbon barrel aged Tsipouro
1 tablespoon fig jam
A pinch of cinnamon
Juice from half a lime
Simple syrup to taste
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add all the ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into a champaign coupe. Garnish with a sprig of Greek Diosmo or fresh mint.
Androp Sour
250ml D2 Tsipouro
3 tablespoons honey
1 cinnamon stick
1 clove
In a small saucepan heat all ingredients for 1 minute, careful not to let boil or burn. Serve in shot glasses or espresso cups.
Spicy Sunset
60ml Androp tsipouro
20ml orange dry curacao
15ml falernum
20ml spice syrup
10ml vanilla
30ml passion fruit
20ml fresh lemon
Fill cocktail shaker with ice, shake the ingredients and pour in the glass.
Serve in high cocktail glass, garnish with Greek diosmo and orange peel.
